Sometimes, I wonder is it just Singaporeans or maybe, it is people in general. When a fire alarm has been activated, no one cares because everyone assumes it’s just a false alarm and nothing serious will happen. People continue to do what they are doing, as if nothing has happened. If that is the case, what’s the use of the fire alarm then? In the case of fire drills, as people are usually notified beforehand, most will lack the urgency and take their own sweet time to stroll down. After all, everyone knows it’s not real. But what if the real thing happens? Are we prepared for it?
