这是少数时候,我很想,真的很想,我的头发快长长。
All along, I have spotted a short length hair. The primary reason for not keeping my hair long is due to laziness: lazy to deal with the hassle of long hair and lazy to wait for my hair to dry at night. Singapore ’s hot weather is also a contributing factor, but not by much.
I used to have really short hair, without much parting. Looking back, my hair then looked as if it was a separate part of me, maybe like a stack of hay. Haha.. Getting out of JC, my parents and some of my friends advised me to change to a longer hairstyle, in my parents’ words, to portray more 女人味. Hahaa.. It seems more like a fake 女人味, but since those school uniformed days, I have kept long-er hair, though slightly longer only. Haha…
My recent trip to the hairdresser 3 days ago returned me back to those old days. When asked how short I would want my hair to be, I told him simply “你觉得怎样会好看?”. Perhaps that’s a very wrong move. Haha.. Actually, my hair has gone under the scissors of this particular hairstylist before, so I thought I would be safe. Oh well… Halfway through the hair cut, I felt that a “disaster” might strike and I asked him: “这样会太短吗?” , to which he responded negatively. So, I decided to trust his professional judgment and he went on with his “art piece”. Hahaha…
I really appreciate the comfort provided by my parents, friends and colleagues who commented the hair looks ok, especially in the hot Singapore weather, and that the cut is really value for money =) Haha.. My parents think that from front, my hairstyle looks like a bit like 凤凰卫视’s host 鲁豫. Oh well… After looking the the pictures, maybe from certain angles, it doesn’t look that bad. Perhaps I am just not used to me going back to my old self having the short short hair. I think it’s time to get used to it. Hahaha…

P.S. I realized that 自拍 is really a skill. I took around 20-30 photos, only to find a few useable ones. The others are either too left, too right, too up, too down or I’m just out of the whole picture. Haha..
