股东大会 = 免费吃喝？

It has been a well-publicized fact in Singapore that retail shareholders go to AGM for food. Recently, a friend of mine attended the Genting’s AGM. However, she was unable to get hold of a food box which was distributed during the meeting. As a compensation for her and similarly others who did not get the food box, they were given $50 dining voucher. No wonder nowadays more and more shareholders attend again – for the food! Wonder if this is just a Singapore phenomenon…
