England is out of the quarters. Not surprisingly, although I must admin that they played better then I expected, esp since they played for most of the time with 10 men, as that red-hot-cannot-control-his-temper Rooney is been sent off early 2nd half. However, it was again Sven who let the whole team down. I think he should not have replaced Joe Cole. Instead, Frank Lampard should go out, because he was simply not playing well. At least Gerrard made a few useful runs and not shooting balls that would never enter the net. Another mystery to me was that why Jamie Carra was assigned to take penalty? I was shocked to see him replace Aronn Lennon at the end of the extra time to be just in time for the penalties. Sven, why Carra? He did not take penalties in LFC and he only scored a handful of goals in his entire career. LFC did not used him in any shootouts for the past 3-4 seasons, so why is Sven using him? Is it because the other people in the squad has no guts to do it? Hmmmm….
