Went with my mum to Big Fish (at Upper East Coast Road, which is 15 mins walk from my house, but I’ve never been there before) today. The food is really good. We ordered a Beef Stew with Mashed Potato Set Lunch which cost $14.95 and came with a pumpkin soup, the main course, a scoop of ice cream and a cup of tea, which adds up to be quite reasonable. The beef was really good, with it being tender and not tough at all. So was the mash potato, which was one of the better ones around. Being at a famous fish and chips restaurant, of course, we have to order their signature dish. The plate cost $14.95 as well, and it tasted good too. The fish was fresh and nicely done, without any fishy taste or smell. Good restaurant, but with only few customers. In fact, my mum and I were the only one at the restaurant for lunch from 11.30am to 12.15 noon. But I heard that it is usually packed on weekends.. Good food, yummy!
