Lesson from yesterday: We are all very dependent on technology these days.

My 1-year & 1-month old LG G3 could not stop restarting yesterday and the screen could not even get past the LG logo. Restarting it, restoring it and recovering it did not work one single bit. The only comfort I had was that I was not the only one facing the same problem with that phone. Being in the critical job hunting period, I was very anxious (or ‘gan jiong’ will be a more suitable word) with my phone down. The only way to solve was to get another phone and I decided to give HTC a second chance, for it was the cheaper option.

It dawned on me how mobile phones, once only a communication tool, have invaded sop deeply into our lives that we are very reliant on, till the extent that some of us cannot go without, our phones these days. Without our phones, we cannot do a lot of things – internet bank transactions, chatting with friends, being contactable, camera, etc… Perhaps, now, we have become a slave to our technology.
